Tiny? lol Theres probably more people with multiple 50's than without.
I am optimistic. I think it'll be great. And I don't think its horrible now.
Soo incorrect lol. And it is not even about the multiple 50, I have 50 and I've got nothing to do ingame but make gil, and I do it on my non rank 50, weather you have 1 or 10 rank 50's the fact is there is nothing to do when you're there and you're just forced to either stop playing, or take up another. And the more you take up the less optimistic you become.
I love it when people reply like this. I have been a final fantasy fan since part one on day one. Since this is the case I have very high expectations for the series. I really want the game to do well and so I am standing by it for that reason. This "Tiny minority" that you refer to are the people that make makes SE who they are in good times and bad. I'm happy to be part of that minority, but have every right to at the same time feel a bit down about the game at this point.
Yet you are not helping them in any way or fashion. You are not paying them to keep the game afloat. You don't need more than to log in and run around for a minute to check out the changes, give your feedback and log out.
There is essentially nothing that you are doing to help this game by having played it this far. The game will do well or fail irregardless of whether you log in every day or not.
And what's funny at this point is that you are the one to most likely leave when the game ultimately gets better. You are the one feeling down, pessimistic and tired of the game for having played it for no good reason whatsoever. Meanwhile the people on the sidelines are glad to start over in a new game and experience the changes and additions to every level range. At the end of the day you are no better than anyone else here. You make no difference to what SE is or isn't in comparison.
Somehow the thought of "not playing a bad game" hasn't occurred to you two. It's... amazing to say at the very least. "The game bores me, TELL ME WHAT TO DO NOW SE".
Everyone else already figured it out, and we are better off for it.

There is a 0% chance I will leave this game but It was funny hearing someone think thatYet you are not helping them in any way or fashion. You are not paying them to keep the game afloat. Makes no sense..........Yet you are not helping them in any way or fashion. You are not paying them to keep the game afloat. You don't need more than to log in and run around for a minute to check out the changes, give your feedback and log out.

If we all just left and didnt play the devs would have no reason to improve it because its got no players... Why do you think it became f2p? So we'd stay.
So... We stay, we play, and the devs are trying their hardest (Even if i dont agree on that) to pull the game back out of the mud because they know people are playing and want it to survive.
They release an update if theres no one to play it, how will they know its any good? or know our likes/dislikes if we're not playing to tell them.
They are looking to bring people back, not keep people in.
They can shut down the servers and work on the game that way. Or they can keep the servers up so whoever feels like playing can play.
There's little difference. You play, you don't play, servers are online, servers are offline. As long as the PS3 release is a success, everything else that happens in-between is irrelevant.
Every person posting here signals SE that they want the game to survive. All you do in-game is increase SE's server load for no good reason at all.
And as I already said, testing the changes so far and giving feedback takes an hour a month, tops. That's all it takes to help the devs at this point.
If they didn't want to keep people in it would be P2P.They are looking to bring people back, not keep people in.
