    WOW style tanks....

Hi all...I just fed up with WOW style tanks tht tries to pull everything in galaxy and expects ultra heals and mega aoe damage from DPS. No this is not WOW tht you can fill a tank with a single button heal evey 5 seconds from %20 hp to %100.

Honestly it is not tanks only anyway, but also (especially bards n archers) try to pull everything around tank.

How usually do you all fellow healers meet such kind? Cose in 2 of 5 dungeons i make via DF, i met tht kind

I never played WOW, so I dont know the comparison.
However, this method of fighting is not uncommon and is doable. I dont know about Scholar healing, but in cases of this I pop Divine Seal and spam CureI until my CureII free pops. Then a couple of them, back to Cure.
BUT....a Tank should always tell you he is going to do it. As long as he tells me he is about to pull everything, I am, at least, prepared for the button frenzy. If he just runs straight in a pulls everything, it is possible we will wipe because I am not fully prepped. And I will say so in chat, after said wipe...or if we survive, after said pull.
If Tank is geared and you are geared, it is no problem...BUT, he must tell you. That is just good manners, as well as being critical to make sure everyone is ready for it!
(you can always refuse, or ask to build up to it - as I have done when running a dungeon for the first time)

Dont be scared to say something. The first pull is the pull where I work out what the rest of the dungeon will be like for me (gauge my healing on the tank). Most Tanks will appreciate you saying something than staying silent and letting it go crazy. e.g I had a tank ask "Small, medium or large pulls" on a run. I replied, "Medium, then we can see if we an upgrade". Everyone was cool. We ended up "upgrading" - but rather that, than a monster first pull and death!

I usually tell my tanks to pull two or three packs at once, especially in WP or AK.

If they don't I'm liable to fall asleep from boredom between bosses because Selene can solo heal if they pull one pack at a time. o.O

I love doing big pulls, it just makes the run a lot faster and more fun. if you cant handle big pulls just tell your tank to do single pulls.

1/ Look at your team gear before making decision whether to pull big pack or small pack at a time.
2/Let everyone knows what you are doing.
3/Test out the theory, if failed multiple times, then it is time to make slow but steady.
    4/Enjoy a happy run.

@OP: Yeah, some Tanks don't bother to actually ask if the group wants/is capable of running in an AE style. You have to tell them not to.

@bored-healers: Cleric Stance. If you're bored on a small/single pull it's no ones fault but your own.

I really don't get this. What I say next is not sarcastic at all, I'm honestly asking this question.

You say you're bored if your pet handles too much healing.
I suggest using skills/spells to fill the time instead of standing around bored.
    You say it's still boring.

What exactly are you looking for?

Hate big pulls. I can only spread Bane to 3 other targets, and if pulling any more than that I'm usually not able to DoT at all. Could get through smaller pulls rapidly in less time and less effort.
