    Over three months before we got any left side bard pieces. We had two bards for most of that so that was extra fun. Until this week between our two bards and myself (mnk) we had gotten a total of 7 pieces of allagan gear and of those only 2 where BiS.

    We have gotten so many monk belts we ran out of people to give them to. Same goes for the caster ring.

    As for the argument that we would run out of stuff do to if we got gear faster.... Really? In my coil group we would have to gear

    War, Mnk, Brd
    Brd, Whm, Blm
    Mnk, drg, war/pld, whm/sch, blm/sch, brd
    War/pld, Drg, Mnk, brd
    Whm/sch, war, drg
    blm, sch
    blm, brd
    Sch/whm, blm, mnk

    That is the list of alts/mains that I can think of that my coil group of 8 would need to gear right now. My group would be busy for a very long time even if we got coil loot at twice the rate we do now.

    There has been enough weeks of myth to full 90 like 2 classes now. If you don't have full 90 on at least 1 job its because you didn't cap out each week, even if you got so unlucky and never won a drop in coil.

    your math is bad. i've only ever spent Myth on SCH and i wouldn't have enough to get every piece till this week. Granted i didn't start capping myth till the last week of September but that just means i missed out on about 1200 myths since launch, which is not even close to capping a second job.

    and some people spread myths around to multiple jobs.

    I had all my jobs to 50, except arc when the game came out so I started capping right away, there were several maintenance that caused myth to reset in the first month but they fixed that bug later. I do have some coil drops but currently have 3 jobs at full 90, so it was just a guess that you would have 2.

    Kind of my case. I've bought paladin gear because I do Coil as scholar.

    Now paladin is better geared than scholar... sigh.

    Token loot sucks the thrill of getting a rare drop out of the game- a thrill that already is minimally existent in the game. Considering we already have major tiers of gear that are avialable from token systems, , as well as quests that offer guaranteed rewards, we don't need any more of them.

    Are you guys talking about WoW's token system where they have 3 different tokens that you loot from bosses then trade it to a npc for gear, and they each have different jobs on them? Because I played WoW that that system was horrible. Ended up with like 7 out of 10 people on the same token meaning those 7 people hardly got any gear at all while we had 3 people who had full sets and all of their off specs geared as well. There is no way that SE should use the token system from WoW.

    Just bring back the materia system from 1.23 (gear get destroyed if the meld fail) and combine it with 1. forbidden materia = character bind

    no, that sounds terrible. they shouldn't have jobs attached to them, they should be blank pieces.

    i would've made each Turn drop 2 or 3 blank items

    T5: Weapon, Body
    T4: Legs, Helm, Belt
    T2: Hands, Feet
    T1: Earring or Necklace, Bracelet or Ring

    everybody can Need, you pick the job when you trade it in.

    if they want to involve the rest of the game, have Materia that can be Gathered and having a Crafter meld the materia to the blank piece sets the job.
