"In-Progress" queue fishing has to stop

So you want to go from having people withdraw, effecting you in no way, to forced grouping where they'll force d/c if they don't get where they want? Okay then.

Inducing a dc and logging back in (in addition to the time required for load screens if they don't run an SSD) is far more work and time consuming than clicking 'withdraw' and then clicking 'join queue'. The amount of people who do this would be negligible compared to the number likely to queue dodge under the current system.

Removing the 'in progress' display is by far the best suggested solution by people do far.

Not that hard, Alt tab, 'net connections, disconnect, grab a beer, log back in. Not that I've ever done that...

I've fished some, not repeatedly though, like if I'm just missing some odd tomes for a relic/myth piece I'll check it and if there are none in progress I'll withdraw (don't see the point in 'in-progressing' CT, all the times I've done it full alliances were missing), and maybe try again in a few minutes. If you removed the ability to see whether or not a dungeon is in-progress, you'd have a bit longer time to wait for reps. I know I won't even bother checking it if its like that, I would just wait till I have more time to do a full dungeon, and others would be the same I'd imagine.

I just don't see how someone withdrawing, even if they were constantly spamming it, would affect you. Also I don't think removing the ability to view the in progress would change the amount of withdrawals in something like CT, that's alot of people to expect to be ready at one time, and I suspect most withdraws are done not by fishers but people just needing to withdraw.

... Beer Queue... I don't drink, but that sounds like an absolutely awesome way to get drunk! Imagine if, stay with me here; you disconnect, grab a beer, log back in, and the Queue puts you in ANOTHER new party? Gotta down another beer! Best part is the odds are in favor of beer every single time!

Honestly though, I don't get why the fishers are waiting until it pops before withdrawing. If something doesn't pop up as soon as you hit the button to sign up, odds aren't in your favor of hitting an in-progress before getting matched with a fresh group. Or is checking and withdrawing before getting matched way too much effort compared to waiting until something pops and then withdrawing?

Before roulette was added, I used to "fish" for in-progress all the time, but by waiting to see if something popped up immediately, otherwise I'd pull myself out of the queue before I got matched with a group and prompted to start. Granted, never did this for end-game, that almost always winds up with joining a party in the process of breaking up entirely, I only fished for incomplete parties in lower dungeons to help them get through it. :3

At the very freaking least, wait 5 minutes after getting paired with a fresh group to give them a chance to get paired with someone else and move through. Maybe the game should just do that automatically; if you withdraw, 5 minute wait
