White Mage in WP last night, got real panicked when healing seemed to do nothing to the tank, canceled my target and retargeted and it worked. Didn't even think of it until I saw this thread.
even after maintenance today, hydra is "laged" today too, atleast on shiva

Well it could certainly be a server issue similar to how attacks rarely seem to register on big FATE bosses. I have not had this issue myself though.
Summoners have to take into account pet accuracy as well, which puts it around 445 for all content. But, that number is probably correct for BLMs and SMNs alone.![]()

I'm going to keep an eye on this and attempt to continue to rule out lag, line of sight, etc. I'll update here if I find anything and potentially submit a but report.
This makes me think it's the mobs moving out of your vision range. If you start casting on a mob in front of you, and it moves behind/beside you, your spell will fail. If it's close enough to completion, an interrupt message wont show. The reason it never fails on party members is you don't have to be facing them to cast on them.
