Why should I have to memorize a pattern? What is this, Simon Says? I should be able to eat a landslide without getting punched off.

You're boring. At least be original if you're going to be snide.
Your "suggestion" (if you can call it that) would technically work if the connection was simply delayed or have graphical lag. What about users experiencing dropped packets? Also, since when is it a requirement to have full experience of a fight that players haven't completed or just killed Garuda and are entering Titan? I didn't know it was an absolute necessity to watch videos online to memorize patterns. Did the parties that made the first videos get their video on the patterns from Square?
So, we are to memorize patterns. Watching a video over and over till we have the timing and sequencing ingrained in our minds. You know, that sounds kind of like how entry level jobs train the employees. Is this a job? Do I need to present a W-2? Does Square have a W-9 they can provide? Wanna make sure that I pay THEM to work in their game.
I feel a pang of regret for wasting the time I did to post this. It's 3 minutes that I won't get back all because I argued with some FFXIV self help guru person on the internet.
What you FAIL to understand OP, most people aren't invited to primals EX anyway if you haven't got the win. So, if you don't have time in to memorize the pattern...how can you memorize it?
Sooo...if you get smacked with something avoidable when trying to learn, either you get kicked or the party falls apart.
Sure you can type in Party Finder..."Learning Party" but to be honest, half the time most people don't read the comments. So if you and your 2 friends set up a party and wipe to something you are trying to learn...party falls apart or some Neanderthal says L2P noobs.
I agree...it's memorization but not all of us are lucky enough or have enough time to grab groups that are willing to wipe a few times to learn the patterns.
wow an insult on the internet.you argued which means you cared or you would have ignored it. to some people its a job making money on twitch or yourtube or other websites. i dont make money off of it.You're boring. At least be original if you're going to be snide.
yes the fact is its a pattern that never changes. people say how hard everything is but nothing is hard every fight is the same in this game you dodge aoe, you kill adds if any then you work on boss.
Secret to winning primals?
Download WTFast!
And if you have wtfast or just a naturally good connection, it's not a real primal kill if you do it sober! That's a well known fact in the gaming community. Sober kills don't count at all. Sobriety is considered a unfair advantage by all that are real serious gamers...
What about people on Verizon FIOS who are having the major lag latency issue at the moment since 2.1's release? Anyone who is stupid enough to shell out $9.99 for 3rd party software (WTFast) to play a game that was working just fine before 2.1 is ridiculous. If you understood what kinda of lag spikes the Verizon customer folk have, you wouldn't have posted this to begin with. Funny or not, check your facts.
I have a pet peeve about people being willfully obtuse. All I'm saying is if you're going to fish for posts ups and attention, please make it more original. Give me some "Channel 9 News: triple homicide at 10PM" or Law and Order: SVU stuff. At least keep me entertained.wow an insult on the internet.

You miss the point about about memorizing patterns to play a game. Some people make money off it, I guess. I have no opinion either way on the subject. My point was for the majority of players, memorizing patterns seems monotonous and, hey, like a job. You're telling us that it is expected that we have to spend time watching someone else kill Titan over and over again so we can then try to kill Titan? We have to watch people play a game that we want to play. Hmm. I see the value in it and watching it isn't a bad suggestion, but the big picture is a little more bleak (which incidentally, isn't on you, but on Square as a whole).
You seem to have avoided the gaping hole in your logic I pointed out:
Memorization works only for latency (high ping rates) and graphical lag (GPU/Heat/Hardware Issues). Memorization doesn't work when the flow of data is INTERRUPTED between the host and client (also known as "rubber banding"). What should these players do (i.e FiOS users/users who have route paths through Level3 nodes)? Memorize harder? Are they not doing it right?
Anyway, your suggestion, though useful and generally a sound idea, should be utilitarian. Not a prerequisite. So I suppose the whole thing is a wash.
This OP reeks of trolling but yes. It is a pattern. You can memorize it.
But you shouldn't have to.
The game is "reaction" based but yet a lot of people are left to play by memory, because of the game's flaws/problems.
A built in 0.3 sec delay (They say it's reduced to 0.1 but I somehow doubt people who already have 100 MS will appreciate an additional 100 MS on top of it; worse, 300 MS if outside of "hard" instanced content).
Constant lag spikes due to data centers.
FIOS users are basically totally screwed currently.
Etc.
I am one of the lucky few.
I have very little to no lag; but even I can notice that massive internal delay. People don't have to deal with this nonsense in other MMO, why should they have to put up with it with this one?
