    Favorite zones!!

One of the best things about FFXIV are its zones, which the designers clearly put a lot of thought into designing artistically. What are your favorite zones in the game, and why?

For me, I've always liked Outer La Noscea - or as I like to call it, "way up in the boonies." Something about it feels like it's so far away from everything, like a separate place from the three City-States. It's got this lush forest thing going on, coupled with the sea. The only thing I don't like it how bright the ground gets near the Kobold mines in the sunlight... maybe it's just my PS3 not pulling in the best settings, though.

they are bigger then anything in FFXIV. and have alot more stuff in them. sea & sky is just where you go to pop or wait for a lotto NM.
sea & sky = lots of danger in the world.
FFXIV = zero danger in the world.

They aren't even "zones". They are like tiny maps. This is the biggest complaint I have about this game. The super-tiny "zones". It doesn't feel like a world and exploration is nearly nonexistent in Final Fantasy XIV.

Zones feel like a primal instance to me.

My Inn Room. It's where I store a half-crazed barber.

"Alot" is not a word. Allot is but it's unlikely to be what you want, try "A lot".

Upper La Noscea personally. Not sure what it is with that area, it just feels cozy when hanging around there. Maybe its the hot springs or the way the green is there. Wished there was a housing area like that, regardless.

The swamp area in the southern part of South Shroud. It is beautiful no matter what time of day it is.
