Hvinire, I swear I am nothing short of honored to have a staff member reply to my thread But nonetheless, my response:

I understand that this feature was implemented with a certain functionality in mind. I also understand that there are currently any plans to change the system. But I beg of you, please don't let that stop you from reading and taking into consideration the opinions of the players that posted in this thread. Many players have expressed how they feel this system is not ideal. Many people here post that this game is already too watered down because of casual players. Well let me tell you. I am a casual player, and this game is most definitely NOT that casual friendly in terms of progression. It is definitely friendlier than other MMO's, but still not friendly.

    Thanks again for the reply!

I think you need to see this from both sides. The casual gamer finds this game too "hardcore". "You have to log in every day to clear stuff". The hardcore gamer finds it ridiculous content gets nerfed and casuals can clear the same content while facerolling. <--- examples

Solution: give the hardcores a reward (clearing content w/o echo buff rewards allagan gear where the text on the item, when you hover over it, is in green instead of whatever the standard color is). Im making stuff up here, just to point out how a minuscule change can have a huge impact.

Let the casuals refrain from dailies without losing the option of obtaining gear, completing story mode and whatever other argument has been made. Let them be able to do the same content, whenever they like, with assistance if they choose to do so.

I don't see a problem other than the casuals screaming that hardcores are being rewarded and they're getting nothing.
