I want to enjoy this game to its fullest without having to sacrifice other things in my life like friends, family, work etc. But you are right! Good lord...what is wrong with me?!
There is a difference between something being hard to acquire, and something just being time consuming. I am not complaining about skill difficulty. YOU want things to be time consuming simply so that you can get things you can rub in other peoples faces because they don't invest as much time in a game as much as you do. The problem here is that people like you are convinced that they are entitled to more because they don't mind the brainless repetition. If i cleared content, and proved I have the skill to clear it, why should YOU be the one rewarded just because you cleared it more times?
and I think you were mis-intepreting that. I know he's telling the truth, there's even news on that and I'm just bit lazy to dig out.
That comment is for what I've experiencing from current beast tribe quest and the end I get (after enduring 45 days) didn't really satisfy. So that's the mean of "That's rich!".
Why the heck you're digging old posts anyways?![]()
for me daily tribe time is a relaxing time to play with friends, going together and help each other while chatting, I like the feeling. But seriously it's a little boring for a solo player doing it alone every day.
Here in lies the problem that makes me smh. You accuse others of entitlement yet at the same time you feel the game should be catered to you and that SE shouldn't include content that IS time consuming to help please hardcore players. There is a definite sense of entitlement on BOTH sides and frankly its usually the more casual playerbase who is more QQ and LOOOOUD about it. Even something time consuming is not out of your reach, it will just take you longer so SE is not preventing you from doing anything in the long run.
Maybe if the casual playerbase would spend more time in game instead of complaining on the forums about a lack of time they would get more done.
Seems like people use "outdated" when they should use "I don't like this"
Daily quest limits, P2P, theme park, grass, whatever. These things don't have expiration dates. While I do think they should have been a bit more innovative, I can't blame them for incorporating things that are familiar. No one wants a huge learning curve either. The first iteration of this game should be proof of that.
I work full-time, too. I have obligations that make it very unlikely for me to log in on some weekdays. This means other people will have completed the reputation grind long before I have.
So what?
Some people are done with both factions already, while I just got my Cavalry Drake. I love my Cavalry Drake, and I worked hard to get it. People with both factions maxed out have no advantage over me. I am not behind them in progression. If I, for whatever reason, become even more busy and am unable to devote time to the Sylphs, there is still so much else to do in the game. Whether I get my Goobbue tomorrow or in late March, my gaming experience overall has not changed.
Dailies are dailies. They are a bonus, not a requirement. People who hate dailies won't do dailies. People who like them will do them when they have time.
I can gain a level every day on alts by doing the roulette. Which means I have to log in every day to get that bonus. So, again, you're gimping yourself unless you're logging in daily. It's not hard to get, really.

Too much QQ-ing over not 'having all the things'
Is this what we've come to? Complaining about the inability to earn a silly (and functionally useless) mount - at the same rate as another player. SRSLY???
As far as roulette... It's main function is to keep people involved in lesser used dungeons. If it was changed to a 'leve' system, the entire purpose of it would be negated as most people would just gain all their bonuses on a single day. As a result DF would develop large gaps of participants during certain days.
There is a weekly cap on Myth anyways, nobody can 'progress' past 450myth, whether they obtain all via high lvl Roulette over 6 days , or 1 Roulette + spamming CT/dungeons on 1 day.
Of course, the above points are irrelevant if you're complaining about Philo tomes... in which case, lol.
