It's surprising that beast dailies were implemented so poorly when leves are implemented so well. FFXIV could have added beastman quests to the leve system, instead of making up a whole new system.

Maybe some parts of the dev team don't talk to each other about what works and why. Or maybe the devs are adverse to making changes to existing systems and prefers to make new things, instead of looking for ways to expand and reuse existing systems.

Regardless, I agree that beastman quests should accumulate like other leves, so people can do them all at once if they want.

Leves in their current form are mostly used to build up and then blow on repeating the same thing ~100 times and maxing out a few jobs in the process. It's incredibly easy and casual but I wouldn't call it well done, personally.

In order to make the most out of dailies and roulette bonuses, one would have have to play every single day, and for us who work, that is just simply unrealistic. Please change it to allowances like the leves, so that those of us who only get to play once a week can reap the rewards like everyone else.

honestly, i think its such a contradiction that they placed a weekly cap on Myths so that players would who play too much dont get too ahead, too quick, and then they go and make these daily bonuses who reward exactly that.
You personally not liking something does not make it an "outdated" mechanic.

I don't see anything "poorly implemented" here. Lots of games have daily quests, there's nothing wrong with them. Maybe they'll have leves too at some point as a seperate thing, that's not a bad idea, but the beastmen dailies are hardly badly implemented. They work just fine.

I didnt say it was outdated because i didnt like it. although i didnt explicitly write it, i meant that it is outdated because it restricted a players ability to take advantage of bonuses. i.e. it hinders a players by restricting flexibility. and at this day and age companies strive to make their product more comfortable, familiar, and accesible to their consumer. and because "dailies" can not be described as this, it is outdated.

that good enough a reason for you?

Daily beastmen quests are quite boring. I simply don't feel like doing them every day.

Would be nice to have the option of using them like leves. As it stands the 15-20 minutes it takes to do them is more of an inconvenience than anything else.

Roulette though, no, it's fine the way it is.

I think this would be a great idea, I work and have a real life too so I often don't manage to complete my daily objectives and it would be nice if the game was more flexible in certain area's, in truth I stopped doing the Beastmen quests as I don't really enjoy them (and Magitek Menace is irritating if you play at low population times) but I fully understand and support the OP. Sad thing is I doubt it will change, wasn't that long ago we had a thread about rolling myth caps to help players who worked away from home etc... It got a lot of flack from the community and a response from the Devs that it wouldn't change. I imagine this will be viewed the same way, which is a shame.

Sadly, i think you are right. I don't think that this will change. But I am glad to see other people that understand that some of us want to enjoy this game even tho we have work, friends, family etc. And i for one also agree that myth tomes SHOULD roll over to the next week. Can you link me to where the devs posted that they weren't going to do it? I would like to see their reasoning. Please and thank you!

Honestly i think you are right in that it is the goal to get players to log in more on a daily basis. And i applaud the dev team for this. But i still think it should be changed. I find it more beneficial to increase log ins during the weekend than to increase them during the week.
