So by them drop rates and me just finishing my 63rd run on t1 I shouldn't get it for at least another 30 tries, that's ridiculous, too many people are getting it on their 1st or 2nd try so why the hell am I on 63 tries now and never have I seen it? They should at least increase the drop rate for tank and healer stuff being that dps will always have better odds. I'm sick of t1 but I know everything about that fight I've done it so much lol

Here is my solution: When you run coil, it should only drop LOOT for the jobs that are in your party. Next it should check the gear you are wearing and adjust % drops based on what you have. So for example if someone is wearing a Bard Head piece the % it drops should go down on this run. Some may say that's stupid but if you don't want it to do this have your Bard not wear it on the run you are doing if you want to gear another Bard. I think this would make things more tolerable and bit more in the players favor. I have hear of Tanks running coil since day 1 and still do not have their full set...that is just garbage and I would be so pissed if I were them.

I'm gunna try that I think, I'll put on a a crap top and run it. I Sussed out ct drops, whoever needs the drop I make them a pf with them being the lowest ilvl by 3 levels at least and I get them to open the chest that drops whatever they need, 90% of the time it works but hasn't on coil so yeah I'm gunna try that out and will let you know how it goes![]()
I got it65th try was my winner, thanks for that tip, no idea why I didn't try it myself but I put on a crap body and everyone let me open the chest, first run with crap body the shield showed up but the next run the body showed up
can't wait to see them new coil drops

Both my old group and new group see nothing but tank and monk drops in coil. In fact, we see so many monk drops that I had 4 pieces from greeds before I even had a monk at level 50 because people in one group had geared up their monks almost exclusively from greeds. It got to the point that if the monk pants dropped, they couldnt be rolled on because everyone already had them. They freakin dropped 5 weeks in a row! Meanwhile, my poor WHM which I've been bringing to coil since week 4 has only managed to scrounge up 3 pieces TOTAL.
I don't care what SE says, something is not right about the loot tables.
loot tables are messed up! The same day the patch came out i farmed T4 literally the whole day completing a total of 36 times successful! I've checked off literally every possible loot drop and seen everything multiple times but have yet to see allagan tunic of healing once! Titan EX also favors striking earrings over EVERYTHING ELSE and the least common drop is fending as out of the 70 plus successes i've only seen them once.
I think tank and healer drops should have a higher drop rate being that the odds will always stack on dps classes. I'm always seeing other tanks and healers frustrated that they haven't got the drops they need after so many tries, as you say most tanks and healers will gear up an alt class before their main class, sucks because good geared tanks and healers are what's needed the most.
I am surprised the Tank and Healer class drops arent more frequent to encourage people to play those roles. I mean those are the roles in most need so you think the drop rate on those respective roles would be much higher.
