cuz its not the same engine as ffxi. and fyi people mostly used websites anyway with the lsmes as to say website updated. every Ls ive been in has a website that require a once a week check. honestly its harder then u d realise it isn't Just a text command, but they needa server storage for them and add ability to see them on multiple LS's.

It's extremly odd that it would be hard to implement. It's just too bad not everyone wants to be scaning forums when they log-in to see if the LS is having any events going on.

Ok first off you can read LS chats from 8+ LS's at once. How would you have the /lsmes work in that system? Before each LS had its own chat room and had to switch LS's to see each chat. Which made it possible to have a notice when you "entered" that chat room.

Also people do rely more on sites then on the lsms in ffxi.

Again you gotta factor in the whole server. Its gotta hold everyones Lsms and presemt all of them on log in. I'm thinking they would need to revert to the old LS meaning you have to switch LS's to talk in them.

First of all, look at what I bolded. Second, your like level 3. Third, you have to switch LS to talk in them. Fourth, whatever active ls would be the one with the lsmes and whenever you switch that ls' lsmes would pop up. Fifth, your the idiot.

You can only have up to eight linkshells. Not more. The message would only trigger if you enter the linkshell.


Saying people rely on sites more is a sweeping generalization. I can link you to several active shells with inactive sites.

Messages at their largest are only a few kilobytes. 15 servers? 100 linkshells each? Not even close to anything significant.
