While I'm a little bit dissapointed about that dev comment but on the other hand I'm not really surprised. At the moment the game is looking really nice, it's only lacking in a lot of things. If they optimize the engine as a whole that should do the trick already. Upgrading everything to DX10/11 would suck up too much time as it is already. When do you want a playable game? 2020? :P
When the time has come they will upgrade everything, just be calm. At the moment they really have to fix and implement a lot of stuff and it's really a lot of stuff. It's just sad, that they didn't consider this before the launch, but that's another chapter.

We can only sit, wait and watch at the moment, until it's slowly getting better. Month for month, bit by bit. The game has a lot of potential and I'm also a little bit impatient but only because I wanna have the same fun and good times as I had in FF11. A little bit eager as to say.

And I think SE can't really admit that they have created some bollocks game. They will keep advancing and fixing/adding stuff. If they say, "I'm sorry we're killing the game because it costs too much" now, a lot of people will COMPLETLY lose faith in SE, for now and the future. They will lose a lot of players. Well at least I think that. As for me I'd be totally dissapointed and really reconsider buying an SE game ever again.

Let's wait for the 1-year annivesary and see what they've done within 1 year :P Just be patient folks, the game will hopefully arise.

P.S.: Gimme my ferking Blue Mage back already =X Pwetty, pwease? ;_;
