other dx 9 games offer amazing lighting as well if done right. I wouldnt mind dx9 if it was an amazing engine and brought to the max.

etc. etc. the lighting is awesome, we have a game that looks dx11ish in many aspects and the mood/lighting is just great.

developers should know dx9 by now and get the best out of it... ffxiv feels like its their first try with dx9
