Proved what? That we downed the nails before and had no issue with parser data in the previous group? But miraculously a new group, and I'm the one not parsing well. How does one go from 210 to 104 between groups? Doing the exact same thing and wearing the exact same gear? Hmm....

I don't really see how he reacted poorly? He just stated that people should actually READ his posts and OP. If you had you wouldn't be saying such things about his "performance".

Why is everyone on this forum so incapable of trust? Like if you're going to just assume the OP is lying ... why even reply to such a dishonest and delusional person?

It seems like a pretty straight up issue, he probably pissed off a voting block of players. Also I love the implication that no one has ever faked/misrepresented parses to give someone trouble in a raid. This is just your new paradigm for behavior for MMOs with Dungeon/Duty Finder systems. If you're not ready to ask the Bard how much damage he was doing face down in the dirt then you should probably just run with your FC. You're generally going to get players who are so used to jokingly using this infantile style of MMO talk that they've actually become infants again. The instant I see someone unironically using "bad" I immediately prepare to treat them as hostilely as the situation requires.

You either need to lay off the detective shows or at least not bring those "skills" into the forum.

From the beginning a BRD said that if anyone else rolled on the piece he wanted he was gone, and I commented that that was rude and that people should be allowed to roll on something if they want it. Needless to say, the rest of the fight didn't go well. I was distracted (I don't remember what by) and ate an eruption due to dodging too late. The griefing began about how I need to "learn to not be bad", to which I defended myself. After the party failed to beat the third nail phase (keep in mind I had gotten past it before, and had someone running a parser before that said our DPS was fantastic), they proceeded to tell me that I was the reason for the fail. That my DPS was somehow HALF of the other BLM in the group, even though we had the same gear and used the same rotation for everything.

They said "well you have one more shot or we're going to have to replace you"....in my party, that I started. I gave it another shot and got told that I had to leave because I was killing the party, was bad, and that another DPS was ready already to replace me (this was the BRD, and the healers and tank obliged him as well, and added to the grief). Keep in mind too that the BRD, as awesome and amazing as he was, died multiple times during the times we attempted, as did other players, which also doesn't help DPS during nails whatsoever. I wound up dropping party and turning off the game, telling my FC that I may be quitting (there's a lot more to that then just the game, I have a ton of personal stuff going on and the game happens to be my bastion of sanity), thank god for my FC, (SeeD, by the way), who backed me and took the time to hash it out with me.

I have never, ever experienced this volatile behavior to this degree in any other MMO I've played. The level of elitism and all around bad attitude, is honestly, a plague. I'm not sure what others experiences are, but I'm quite taken aback by it to be honest. I have since gone into another Ifrit EX party I made, and got told again that my DPS was fine and where it should be. The bullying in this game is beyond asinine, and people act like they run the game and can treat people like utter garbage just because they don't like them.

tl;dr, I know....but I had to get it out there, because it's been bugging me all day. I am so tired of the "This isn't a winning party" (saw that a lot during Titan), or "Anyone got a parser running?" after a wipe on EX mode primals (not due to heart or anything like that, but gaols and stuff, and funny thing, peoples actual DPS wasn't the issue, the issue was them just pushing themselves not enough). It's really becoming completely unenjoyable to play this game. Even in CT there's full FC Alliances that go around trolling and wiping the raid because it's funny, so even easier content is abysmal to attempt sometimes.
Please, don't quit! We love you!

I'm sorry you experienced what you did, but I honestly can't say I'm surprised. I've seen comparable behavior in other situations that makes your story completely believable. Please don't let people like that get to you, though. There are plenty of nice people out there too, and I hope your FC is filled with them.

There's a lot of tense attitudes in the PF comments I'm reading for Ex Primals. People are really strung out trying to get their clear for the week/farm, and if it means ganging up on somebody via bandwagoning, I wouldn't be surprised if they did. I'm sorry to hear you had a terrible run-in.

You probably heard it all before, but yea this type of stuff happens in MMO. It pretty much stresses the importance of finding a FC to help you or form a LS with like minded goals/attitude. I suggest making your own party finder group, I beat all the EM primals several times but I make a lot of learning groups in order to increase the pool of people I can bring along to these primals. Just my suggestion to you.

From what I understood, it was a party he himself made.

But, maybe from now on put something like "relaxed people only." Might take long to actually form, but in the long run, saves stress and possibly time.

If the bard had a bad attitude you should have left. That's it.
i'll take this over a "dis game sux i hate it and dis is why i refuse to pay for it" type of place anyday

And tbh, even if I was confident I can run those primals without screwing up, I still generally avoid those kinds of parties/people because I don't like their attitude. I think it's understandable to make a mistake every now and then, without pressuring people to play absolutely perfectly. What's not acceptable is making the same mistake several times and as long as people are learning from their mistakes, no big deal.
