Long as it is constructive, on the topic of XIV ARR, and the subject doesn't go off topic, there is nothing wrong with people venting on the forums.

Sorry that happened to you, OP. With people like that it's good to stand up for yourself, but standing up for yourself more often than not very easily turns into arguments. And people like that simply aren't worth your time.
