You lost me at twink.Hey guys,
i finally want to level a twink class besides my main Class but i don't have anymore quests so i am wondering what is the best way to level up now.
Fates are not that crowded anymore. I do Daily low Level Duty Roulette and 1-2 Dungeons a day. But it feels like it's kinda slow without any quests. So if anyone does have any advice i would be really glad to hear it

Incorrect use of the word. They mean alt.
As others have said, a mix of things is best. Low-level roulette is great for DPS (faster queues, bonus exp makes up for the difference between their level and the dungeon they get) but I would skip it if you are a role with short queue times (Tank/Healer) as you get the same (sometimes better) exp doing a level appropriate dungeon while also getting drops that you can use as upgrades.
Battleleves are great exp, too. Many people use the escort one, as you can skip killing anything and it's fast (crank difficulty to +4). I expect they may change this at some point to prevent everything from being ignored, so get it while it's hot.
Daily Guildhest is great, too. You get the equivalent of about 1.5 Battleleves worth of exp for like 3-5 minutes of work (once it pops). Not sure how this compares to a dungeon (maybe a bit slower, but maybe quicker queues?), but at roughly the same level I think I was getting something like 100-120k in an instance for maybe 30 minutes of work.
As you run around, do any FATES you see. They can actually be really good now with a group because they tend to spawn so many mobs that you get more exp from killing things than the FATE exp (they didn't nerf FATE exp, they just made them last longer and more difficult). Ignore fates with single big bosses, as they also made them harder, but they don't offer any additional experience.
While I like the fact that dungeons are a worthy XP source now the lack of balance is dull.
Please adjust the game so that Players can choose between fates, roulette or leves what they want to do instead of just making one of those way too good so that the rest of the content sits there and becomes meaningless.
If the XP yield from other sources is balanced then the whole game becomes less of a grind as you won't have to do the same thing over and over if you want to level up efficiently.
with 2.1 the Fates are pretty much dead now because everyone is busy doing the same roulette grind over and over again.
Do the activities you have the most fun with. The levels will come as an after thought. I decided to level an alternate class as well and just from having fun with my friends and helping out "younger" FC mates, I got some levels pretty quick. In fact at one point I was like "… wait…. where did those past three levels even come from?!"
The only thing that's not balanced now with the levelling is how few leves you get per day, comparatively to being able to just chain grind FATEs or Dungeons with no consequence, FATEs are really on par with dungeons, they just aren't the mindless zerg fest that they used to be, and you no longer blow them up in like 10 seconds.
Spammed off over 120+ Mor Dhona escort leves (one of the naturalists is missing only takes 30 seconds) to finish off my BRD last week. Took roughly 4 hours and got the last 3-4 levels out of it and made about 75k. Then I was out of leves lol. Kind of thinking of trying to get a guild group to fate grind with a 4 player 4 chocobo companion setup to see how it would be for companion XP now, since the increased chains from lack of other fate grinders might seem appealing now.
