Ironically said the person with no evidence?

My evidence is I own both, I can put them side by side....
My ps3 takes longer to show something on the screen.... I have played them side by side.... in the same dungeons ... Its obvious.
To Lustrate 1 person, cast heal a separate target, and pet heal a third target, within the same GCD takes 3 clicks on my PC, 5 (or more depending on which target ) on my Ps3

    ... Fact?

The only thing I think is slower to do on controller is selecting a single enemy out of a big group (4+), and that's only a real issue on T4. AoE ground spells require some extra practice but once you get used is also extremely simple. Moving is actually much better on controller than kb/m, and this a very move reliant game. I have several friends who play on the PS3 and they're doing just fine. Their only complaints is about framerates on crowded areas (which doesn't affect endgame content) and loading times.
I agree the difference is small... but its there. I just said if people don't want to take someone because of a slight disadvantage , no matter how slight, when there is 1000 other people looking for good groups.... You really can not criticize them.

this is wrong, you can very much play with keyboard and mouse, all you have to do is change some setting in char config so that when you type on the keyboard it doesnt automatically bring up your chat log.

the only difference is hotbars, you cannot assign hotkeys to your keyboard like you can on pc and must still use the xhotbar.

but you dont have to take my word for it

Using the controller hotbar with a mouse counts as a "you can not play" on my book. Kudos to someone who actually do that, but no. Now that's more than a "slight" difference.

i never said it was great, i said it was possible. i also said the controller was more efficient a few post's back, because for the ps3(and many pc players), it is.

It will always - always - be faster for me to get a heal onto a target with a mouseover macro than a PS3 player can manage on a controller. There's simply an unavoidable delay in the mechanics of cycling through players to find the right one. I don't even have to target a player to heal them.

But if we really want to get into the nitty-gritty, it's also faster for me to heal a player with mouseover macros than it is to use the standard "target and press a button."

bolded the important parts of your post, thanks for another opinion

i main a healer on ps3, i have yet to have a death on my watch due to ps3 limitations. i have done all content up to t4.

    ::quick edit::
inb4 "oh but this thread is about t5" its not my platform that has kept me out of t5

I didn't say that you being slower would lead to death. I said that I will always be faster. It is simply faster for to mouse over a target as I hit a button than it is for me to a) target someone and then hit a button or b) cycle through several people to reach the target I need to heal. It has nothing to do with me, and everything to do with physics.

This might lead to some pointless arguing, but...

I main heal on controller (PC), and I can't think of a single death caused by me not being fast enough to change target due to the controller. Being faster to do on mouseover doesn't mean the game actually requires said speed. With proper party list positioning I can reach any player I want in the time it takes for godamn lustrate to cooldown.

Could I be faster? Sure. Does the game require said speed. No.

The only reason I don't LIKE playing with PS3 players is communication. If they can type without taking 5 minutes to say "Yes" or they can jump on TS/Mumble on a laptop/PC next to them then I couldn't care less who I'm with.

There are many ways to get around the limitations of a controller.
