Character Creation and Age Adjustment

Initially I wanted to play a Hyur Midlander with an aged look, to give a sense of wisdom and experience.

My experiments with the character creator were fruitless.

As the patch 2.1 rolled out, I felt a sense of progression in-game (Rev. Toll. being built up) and time had passed.
The thoughts of having an ageing character again cropped up but thankfully the Aethestician was available to highlight my hair with a lighter grey tint.

Thereon I looked like a teenage boy in a dress with bleached highlights. Derp.

My question or proposition to you, Square Enix, would it be possible to have increased facial customisation, or wrinkles at the very least included into character creation?

I don't want to be an Elf, nor do I want to be a cat-girl, halfling or teen pop sensation(Midlander M)

why? they could just do it as a face paint which would make it accessible from the aesthetician.

Not saying this is a bad idea. But I can think of about 10,000,000 things they should work on first before "Ok you can look old now". And age != wisdom all the time . I know plenty of idiotic "aged" people and plenty of 30 year old geniuses.

Oh most certainly I'd rather them address issues concerning actual functionality of the game, but if I hadn't of made this thread, my humble requests would be but prayers that one day a game dev would decide to implement it.
With this; I at least broadcast on some small level my desires for Eorzea and its populace.

Things I'd like before anything else:
- Functioning Sylph quests
- Loot distribution function
+ I dislike having to roll against another member who has already obtained 3/4 loot from dungeon.
- Good players to party with

Considering entirely different people work on the various aspect of the game, there's probably not that much high priority stuff that the guy who designs characters and such needs to get out of the way first.

What's wrong with the sylph quests?

Mi'qote actually have a more aged look as one of the facial options. I believe Highlander does as well, though neither is really an "old" look.

Since they keep talking about putting freckles in the game, I don't see why wrinkles or other aged looks can't be added too. It must be along the same mechanic as freckles would be.

What's wrong with the sylph quests?

Hawthorne hut Sylph quest was broken before most recent update. Could not interact and place carrots(?) around the hut.

Why would we want freckles?! D:
