Well isn't that something that the GMs should worry about? If they are going to be a douche because they sometimes have to do a WHOLE dungeon.. they shouldn't be playing MMOs. There is also a point where they are clicking withdraw longer than the amount of time they saved, completely defeating the purpose of why they are doing it, and just being a nuisance to everyone they get stuck in the queue
Also money is green no matter how much of a jerk the person holding is.
The point of this thread is to have something where the GMs can do something about the abuse.
If you are holding up the line at any store, they ask you to leave. it doesnt matter what color your money is if you are disrupting other customers
Why should i have to do something like this when someone could just enter the dungeon assigned to them. I have to do extra stuff to time my entrance to make sure no one is being a d-bag?when someone withdraws from the duty finder once commence/withdraw as popped you only have to requeue if its someone in your party. If some random person or if you are queued solo and someone drops you do not have to do anything it will auto requeue you and put you at the front where you left off. Furthermore You do not have to hit commence right away at all. You can just wait 15 seconds or so, so that you know for sure the queue pop is going to stay.
You said "If they are going to be a douche because they sometimes have to do a WHOLE dungeon.. they shouldn't be playing MMOs. " my reply to that is that no matter what they can choose to play the game as long as they pay.
Also, holding up a line in a store is a terrible comparison. The only time a line is long is because a crowd of people want to check out at the same time. The store doesn't care if you waste your time in line just to buy tooth paste, as long as you give them your money they could care less. Let them stand in a line for an hour.
you do not have to do anything extra at all.. you still only have to click commence 1 time. clicking anymore then that is your choice... clicking instantly when it pops every single time is your choice. thats on you no one else. No one is forcing you to click it every single time it instantly pops. You can wait 10 or 15 seconds to see if its gonna withdraw that way you only have to click your button 1 time. See your problem is solved you are welcome you can pay me in gil!The point of this thread is to have something where the GMs can do something about the abuse.

ONLY THING that needs to happen:
Completely seperate join in progress from the normal queue. If the join in progress box is checked, do not match that person with a new group. Simple!
They should simply fix the problem, rather than ban or punish anyone for trying to use a feature of the game to achieve the result it advertises.
How is duty finder unlike a line at a store? the person constantly clicking withdraw is some guy standing in front of the door refusing to go in blocking other people from entering. You said "If they are going to be a douche because they sometimes have to do a WHOLE dungeon.. they shouldn't be playing MMOs. If this is an option, how many new groups do you think will be made that will get an open slot? the queue times for both pools would be ridiculous. they just need to hide the progress, easy. If you leave because it isnt where you wanted it, you eat the penalty. The in-progress button is saying you are willing to replace someone, it isnt saying you want to finish faster.Completely seperate join in progress from the normal queue. Yeah this is so common in a store lol. Yet store openings 95% of the time are big enough for 4 people to enter in and out at the same time.
except the store has multiple entrances and you can get in another way..... same with the dutyfinder there are more then 1 way to queue for the dungeon for a party of 8 then queue less chances of getting that 1 person withdrawing.
They definitely need to deliver some justice on this, when so few people are griefing so many SE needs to step up and deal out warnings leading up to bans for repeat offenders.
I like watching them try to defend thier actions, its like in those games with open world pvp where theyi decimate the population completely then say its not thier fault its the games. People have no personal resoposibility anymore its time someone takes it out of thier hands completely. People like that don't deserve a choice, they deserve bans.
it doesnt matter how many entrances there are or how big it is. Go right now and stand in a store's walkway for 20 minutes and dont move and see if anyone asks you to get out of the way.
It doesnt happen because its a D thing to do. you are just proving my point.Yeah this is so common in a store lol.
