    Pharos Sirius

Tried Pharos for the first time today as a DPS. ilvl48 my butt! That is a difficult dungeon. For those of you who've ran it, you know why.

The first 2 bosses can be messy, but are rock em sock em robots compared to Siren.
Siren can be rough for all party members, but absolute hell for the Healer.

Healers who are able to efficiently help knock this boss out are legends, and I commend you.

*any* healer who can get their team through this fight at all should deserve all commendations.

Got Pharos one time in my High level duty roulette so far (I am SCH iLVL 73) and found the whole dungeon pretty simple... until we reached Siren. We wasted the complete time limit trying Siren and i have absolutely no clue how to manage that fight.
Did not try it again so far, maybe it had to do with my DF members too... but now i am scared to hell each time i start a high level duty roulette...

I've completed it a few times and I'm still scared on roulette. If DPS cannot do enough damage to dogs on the first fight, they wind up stacking debuffs and dying like crazy.

    On Siren, a few things:

Ask the tank or a dps to interrupt Lunatic Voice, which is the AoE that puts a healing debuff on the whole group (red with white bone pice looking icon).
If the group knows how to move when she jumps (to middle and stay there or sidestep out of her way if she appears on the outer ring) and kills the seargents (crawling zombies fast) it should be not too hard of a fight

As healer, keep everyone topped off as good as possible. Lustrate (and Benediction) will not be effected by the healing debuff if Lunatic Voice gets through. Stay away from crawling zombies at all times. They stun on hit and will disable you which you can't afford. Same on the tank. DPS has to take them off fast. If LV gets through then you NEED to remove the debuff first and esuna/leech like there is no tomorrow because at least one member will get hit by the charm timer after this.
As a WHM don't be sparse with Cure II if you see the Charm timer on a member (purple ghost icon). You got 10 seconds to top that player off to not have him/her charmed.
The things mentioned above really help, though.

I ll just add that main targets for heals and esuna/leeches are heal and then tank.
Because Lunatic voice comes with damage too and of course a charm not long after. And if you get charmed you can't save anybody

I usually find that I have the time for 2 esuna/leeches and some heals before the charm.

I rather have a dps chasing me and everyone stays alive

Pharos Sirius is not that hard.

It's all about tactics and knowing what to heal / shield, what to kill first and what to interrupt.

As others said before, quite simple.

Medica II, dodge Ifrit move, kill crawlers, Esuna Esuna Esuna.
    I found this very easy.
Boss #1 is harder for ill prepared parties.

Thank you for a fun dungeon, SE!

It's only hard for the healer if you leave it up to him or her to get their party through the fight. :P When all party members are working together (DDs killing the crawling adds first, tank stunning Lunatic Voice, everyone evading dashes etc.) it's not difficult to heal.

That pretty much sums it up. People just dont know to Stun LV. War is probably the best tank to bring since their stun is off GCD. PLD really needs to be ready for it.

Keep in mind that the charm ability where you need to top off the person also decreases healing on the target by about 50%, On SCH I use a macro to adolquium and embrace that target, which will top them off 90% of the time, and the other 10% time an additional physic will do well.

Hope for people able to silence lunatic voice, Otherwise you're going to have to struggle against the lesser healing buff.
