How does the team plan to adapt the game so that when the level cap goes up all these high item level items aren't messing up future gear.

For example, say the level cap goes up to 60 at some point. If I am an ilvl 90 player what can I expect? Is the expectation that the item level will always be significantly higher than the player level, or is there some sort of balancing being planned?

Also, are the two girls holding guns in the basement of the Marauders guild a sign of things to come?
