I am on the Cactuar server... which is middle of the road in terms of FC housing prices. I believe we have a healthy server... its members are active. Still, we only have 3 small and 3 medium houses across all of the 15 wards that are available. Our FC, i believe, is doing what every other FC is doing. We have an FC lottery that gives some money toward FC housing and the rest to a lucky winner. We have treasure hunt runs where we donate all the money collected toward FC housing. We have a donation request of 350K gil that will allow those members to place items inside the FC house (once we get one). We are doing everything we can to think of ways to raise money. All of it though still has us falling significantly short of the large housing plots. Currently we have 20 million gil. I don't think all FC's need a large plot but ours is the largest on the server... it just seems appropriate. Can you please help me to understand why I should keep contributing toward a goal that doesn't seem like it will happen. Especially when I know that personal housing will be coming out as well? I guess I just don't understand why such a community building item... seems to be starting to tear our communities apart. FC members are getting tired of requests for housing gil. I am getting tired of asking for them. Please help us remedy this by lowering prices to a reasonable amount. We don't mind saving.. but we will be saving for another 3-4 months to get a house... and that is just too long. You also are going to have a large flux of people joining FFXIV because of PS4. If they come into our servers and see the empty housing districts... do you really think they are going to want to add a subscription onto their free 30 days? Please, please, please. Think this through.
