    The gil issue is because of lack of crafting and gathering. Stuff is just to easy to get. I hate to say it but its true. When you make it so its very easy to obtain the supplies and make it HQ almost every time, people don't see the profit in it and treat it as a NQ. Again hate to say it but crafting HQ items is to easy. On top of that, people keep reducing the price on many things that were worth farming and now they are not because because its just easier and almost cheaper to just buy them because you get almost 10k gil on one dungeon run and repairs cost 2.5k-3k gil on iLv80+ gear when they are running low after 4-5 runs. As of now, people that craft can't make gear w/o binding materia to it close to get close to iLv80+ gear. If they do try to sell it, people just use the stones to buy their armor because they don't want to or don't have enough gil to buy the set and stones are easier to get than gil.

    So again hate to say they need to make the armor you buy with stones cost more or reduce the amount of stones you get to balance out the gear you get with stones vs the gear you can get threw crafting. Places like CT and Coil should lower their drop rates on gear and add hard to get supplies so people that can lot on them to make gear iLv80 stock to iLv90 gear with materia and add some customization to the stats. The housing also killed the economy because a lot of FC's and players are hording gil to get their house because they cost so much.On top of that they are talking or making it (not sure haven't really looked into it yet) that you can personal buy your own house. How much the FC houses are, people that have a lot of gil are trying to get more gil to be ready to buy their very own house. Lately in this game I haven't had the need for gil. I can make it very cheep or farm dungeon to get better gear.

    Please, NO. If you want to be tied down to the repetitive Weaponskills required by Skillchains and the parties Job classes, then go back to FFXI. I, myself, am enjoying the relaxed fighting style this game offers. I get tired of being forced to perform he same Weaponskills in a predetermined order of execution, and having my eyes glued to the chat log, looking and waiting for skills used by the mob and party members. Using macros to display chat, letting party members know when to start the skillchain. Yeah, the animations from the Magic Burst.
    Don't get me wrong, It CAN be fun, but after hours and hours, sometimes days, of grouping, it can get to be more like work then a game.

    The only thing I use gil is cheep supplies, teleports and repairing gear. Other than that if I feel like the supplies are going for a to much, I farm it and keep the NQ and sell the HQ to still make profit. But most of the time, by the time I get back the price dropped so much I fell like I just wasted my time because people try to get a quick sale buy price matching off each other so items that cost 10k per pop are now 500 gil or lower with in a day or two. They really need to go back to the FFXI auction house ways again to help balance out the game a bit. I know its easy to monopolize the market but hay some times that good thing. If you are into making gil off the people that are monopolizing its a good way to go. That's how I made most of my gil in XI. If they don't fix the basics of the game many people are going to leave because they are bored with it quick and mad because the fell like they wasted their time on their crafting or gathering jobs.

    Sometime in a future patch I would like to see the condition corrected with Marking mobs, using others to do your dirty work with finishing off mobs, and then receiving bonus experience / credit. It's annoying to see an entire fate spawn Marked from AOE before you can even buff. It's especially annoying for myself as a tank, to cast Protect and Stoneskin while some Archer or Magic caster gains the mob's hate, which can be difficult at times to get back while chasing after a mob being kitted.

    Another thing I would like to see changed in a future patch, is the amount of time some skills and potions are active. 10 to 20 seconds is a really short duration. Is there any real issue with allowing these skills, and potions to be effective for a more realistic duration like, say 60 seconds or in a case like PLD's Sentinel or Tempered Will, just let them last 5 to 10 minutes. Is that really going to change the game that much? This other request is in the same category, so I'm going to include it in this thread. When you cast Stoneskin, and Protect, then enter a Fate the requires Syncing, those buffs disappear, and then require casting once again (to be better prepared) before engaging the mob. Can this be addressed? The skills that are not available at the synced level should disappear, but not ones that are available for use at the synced level.

    This is a bit of a loaded question.

    In his current iteration, Odin is a bit of an enigma. We know his history and why he was sealed away. We know his seal was shattered and that he is now free. We know he was a ruthless fighter before, yet he currently wanders the shroud without directly attacking Gridania. It is said on the website that he may simply be looking for a worthy opponent, but thats where it all ends. We are left with a bit of a cliff hanger after completing Odin's background questline in the Waking Sands, which we can only assume will be a pre-requisite to future content.

    My question is, will Odin be expanded upon in the future? He is a Final Fantasy character who has some rich history and inspiration, immense power and threat. He is also currently very under appreciated. You've already shown interest in releasing Primals in a FATE format but can the opposite be done for Odin? Will he be expanded upon in future main story developments?

    Question

    I have a few questions.

    First is are you planning on putting in more jobs and classes into the game? if so when will we see them possibly and what jobs/classes will they be?

    Second how are you going to fix PvP? I wonder this because I grow tired of fighting against ranks far above my own. I wonder this only cause I am rank 6 I do not mind the constant stun/sleep (though I think sleep should have some debuff in pvp only) but I tire of fight rank 30's 40's when I am no where near that rank. Also are you going to drop the prices of PvP gear or increase that amount of Marks one get for winning or losing?

    It was previously stated that Final Fantasy XIV will be coming to the Steam gaming network. When will this happen, and will existing PC customers receive a code to unlock the Steam version without needing to buy the game again?
