2.9 is the major patch in the 2.0 era, after that it would become 3.0

Technically, 3.x will be the patch numbers for the first expansion.

If A Realm Reborn follows how they did patch numbers in 1.0, it'll be like 2.1a/2.1b, then 2.2/2.2a/2.2b/etc.

If they are going to average say 3-5 months for a patch... then to get to 2.9 would be like 3 - 4 years. We will be at 3.0 long before then most likely.

To our knowledge it is in 2.2 or 2.3,

Patch 2.15 among other things includes PvP balance changes, so I wouldn't be too concerned about frontlines not being ready.

Literally...the only thing in 2.2 worth waiting for.

Does anyone know an approximate time frame for the release of 2.2? I'm super excited after reading everything on this thread. :P New AF armor will be awesome. <3
