Why is the American box art so dull and uninspired?

started reading the rpg list it had in there and I see why Gestalt had diff character -.-... I'm just hoping they don't change Zero from Drakengard 3 in to some kind of fking AMAZON

Lol, I don't see HOW they can make zero even more hardcore than she is now. If anything they'll have to tone her down and censor things for the US market :-/

If only she can make an appearance in the game. It just sucks the marketing for this game is non existant

I hate all of them. I miss the simplistic, yet very artistic, box art they used to put on all their Final Fantasy games.

The cover should have been the name and the blue and white picture behind it and nothing else.

Like these (FFXII being a little OTT). They were so good at these kinds of covers, but sadly they get more and more flashy every time.

Even if they had the cover itself simplistic, yet gave it a fancy slip (http://collectorsedition.org/uploads...re_enix_04.jpg <- The thing on the left) or the other way around (simplistic slip and fancy cover) I'd be happy but I guess that's why I buy digital instead of a hard copy.

Are they even taking preorders for this game outside of SE? That's the only way I could do it..

And on topic I like all three, but I guess liking NA means I am dull and boring. I just am partial to FF villains and I love how the black wolf is holding the sword. It has so much character to the pose, and such a threatening tone at least to me..

Pound for pound I like the NA the best with EU 2nd. I guess I fit in that stereo type. I just go by how good it looks when picking it up from your library. As a collection how you're shelf is gonna look.

The JP one looks like an anime show, EU looks like an anime movie, the NA one makes me want to play that first to see who this billy bad villian is. I think we like just cool looking villians.
