Does anyone know why, though? Does the head of SE-USA marketing have a big ego and insist on changing everything just so he can say he had input? Is there market research that actually suggests American consumers are put off by things like "colors" and "imagination" and "more than one person on a box?"
Because that's how they feel about us, dull and uninspiring

The Japan box art just makes more sense. So much more sense. It definitely has a more appealing style to it ala Tactics Ogre. It just looks so much more exciting than an image of one villian and no good guys teaming up to kick said villian's butt? Hello?![]()
Whoopie Pie ~ Ragnarok ~ Legends United

Holy crap.

I asked this in beta and ppl told me that in america the average consumer likes a big close up of the villain. and in Europe they are more social and want to see comradery and scenery, but also want at least a glimpse of the villain.
I was just comparing the EU and NA on my thing though so idk about the Japanese side.

I find it funny, in the infinite wisdom of a corporation though when they came out with FF7 and said "Sorry everyone this is the true number we're at, 2 was actually 4, 3 was actually 6, etc etc." they forgot that with that universal system of recognition should have been box art as well.

Oh, I am just saying that right there amd then you know its an online game in the other version.
If people didn't know any better they'll think that its just a regular final fantasy rpg. But in this day and age people can just do a quick review using thier phones like I do.
As for the japanese vers. It looks like some typenof cutesy final fantasy tactics game. But thats just my oppinion.
If something doesn't catch someone's eye in the first place, they're definitely not going to look it up.Oh, I am just saying that right there amd then you know its an online game in the other version.
