Hello Devs_Pet Skill 1-4 macro PLZ

Pet control is important. This is more a suggestion for GMs to allow different game mechanics

    Problem:
Smn / Sch / Arc have a total of 7 different pets. All different, and all have good utility WITH DIFFERENT SKILL NAMES, and not enough bars to set up for all skills. I currently have my skill bars set to Alt+1-4 bound to pet hotbar 7-0. This way I can quickly use a different pet skill in battle as needed.

The problem now is when I change to a different class that doesn't have pets, 4 of my main, easy to hit skills are unusable with this set up, and no way to quickly change things without re-adjusting a chunk of my setting.

    Solution:
Can you implement / is there a macro set up that can be usable for all pets.
    (ie

    <pet skill> 1
    <pet skill> 2
    <pet skill> 3
    <pet skill> 4

    )

This way we can put custom macros on our hotbars that are usable for ALL pets.

pls respond... /like if you agree. Lets try and make something happen.

You actually use Titan and Ifrit on your Summoner?

What you can do is make specific hotbars for each pet and use the hotbar switch command in a summon macro. I don't remember what the command was but it changes your bottom #1 hotbar to the number specified.

    i.e.
    /summon eos
    /hotbar switch 9

9: [embrace] [whisp Dawn] [fey convenant] etc...

    /summon Selene
    /hotbar switch 8

    8: [silence] [light] [glow] etc...

    Macro example:
    /pac "Fey Illumination" <me>
    /pac "Fey Light" <me>

This will make you use the fourth skill regardless of fairy.

As a SCH, I have two hidden hotbars (that I never use) set up for each pet.
I use a macro to copy the corresponding bar to my active one whenever I summon one of my pets.

But to do that, you have to sacrifice these (in my case 2) bars.
Lucky for me, I use all of my hotbars but two, so I have just enough to use this system.
If I were a SMN, I wouldn't be able to do this for all 3 pets. If I want to keybind more unrelated actions, I can't, since I have no more free bars for this.

What OP suggest would be much more practical.

EDIT: What Wolf_Gang suggests seems more practical than what I do. Still, the OP's suggestion would be the most simple.

This is the correct way to do it. Can go a step further and just make a "1 button" macro for either fairy.
    /micon "Whatever you want" pet
    /pac "Fey Glow" <p>
    /pac "Fey Light" <p>
    /pac "Fey Illumination" <p>
    /pac "Whispering Dawn" <p>
    /wait 1
    /pac "Fey Illumination" <p>
    /pac "Whispering Dawn" <p>

Pop Rouse before/while doing this if using Eos, or simply use every 30 seconds if Selene. Easy.

So I can just make a macro for using both Fairy skills that correspond to skill 1-4 and the macro will just ignore the skill for the other pet that isn't summoned?

That's just crazy enough to work.

Works like a charm! One more thing. I know there is a way to turn off the warning message I get when trying to use a skill my pet doesn't have. What is it?
