I enjoyed this "event" for the first week or two — but it's been drawn out way too long and I simply have no interest anymore. Now I just find it annoying; especially the frame rate drop with all the stupid raining.

The vernacular was a bit convoluted. >.<
Seriously, I was thinking the same thing. It's not the easiest to read.
That said, I usually enjoy the lingo and phrases used in game. So I somewhat appreciate what they're doing here. Maybe when The Harbor Herald and The Mythril Eye start reporting, the writing styles will vary as they speak to their respective audiences.

I live in NV dude, I don't now about your state/country/region but you shouldn't act like you know everything about where someone is. the average 21 year old (my age group) hasn't read much of anything, sparknotes stuff if they had to. That does shrink your vocabulary a lot. I have to explain a lot of these words to them and they are still going to a university they just aren't college of liberal arts. In nevada, (which I'm not natively from there I just lived there the last 12 years), you get this type of language knowledge from being interested in liberal art material, you don't typically get it from a class room. So there would be people who feel left out from this. Most of the people I've met from any state don't get the english they write the lore in due to the accent or such they wrote it in, and this is due to not having been exposed to that accent or accents in general in writing and there are people like that. There are people who can barely read who still play this game, which completely shocks me also. There are whole threads dedicated to the in game english, while its not a problem for me, I see it is a problem for some people.Lawl, it's not rocket science. Just flavoured english, you don't have to read shakespear to understand what's going on.
Agreed, suggested an in-game news stand to access this kind of stuff with an NPC to spawn and shout for a while when something new came out, would be nice to see something like that in-game.
Fair enough, I think I pretty much owned myself with that comment by spelling Shakespeare wrong anyway. Irony, I has it.I live in NV dude, I don't now about your state/country/region but you shouldn't act like you know everything about where someone is. the average 21 year old (my age group) hasn't read much of anything, sparknotes stuff if they had to. I didn't really consider it a problem, I've never done an english class since it was compulsory but obviously background does affect your abilities.
It says to me that the 100+ Deaspected Crystals I have stored up might be a little money maker at some point soon![]()
Call me a cynic, but this is so reminding me of May 21, 2011. Did anyone really save the date? >.>
I don't care.
I want contents, not words!
Bye
