Stomps are a healers and bard problem, the only thing you should do on stomps is storms path them so they do less damage to the entire raid.
If the healers are really good they'll stone skin you before a mt buster is incoming.

Just curious, why do you think it's the Bard problem? Do you still think Rain of Death does -10% dmg reduction? If so, they switched that in 2.1 to evasion down to compensate for Storm's Path
