26. Mercy Stroke - A damaging ability that can be used without triggering a global cooldown and will heal you if it is the killing ability. Limited utility outside of soloing, as getting the kill-shot is almost impossible.

A special note that I recently discovered to add to this:

You can use Mercy Stroke without interrupting a combo. It can also be used while under the effect of Pacification.

E.g. Heavy Swing -> Maim -> (Mercy Stroke used) -> Storm's Eye

Even though you used MS within the combo, you will still retain the combo action, potency, and bonus in Storm's Eye from a typical HS -> Maim -> SE.

This also applies to any classes that cross-class the skill as well within their respective combos (i.e. Dragoon, Monk, etc.)

X. STR Tiering
The STR Tiers Model
This model goes on what you can see on the screen. That every 40-41 points of STR you get another 1% reduction on your parry, and any amount of STR that doesn't get you to the next STR tier is wasted (in terms of parry). This model works on what you can see on the screen; at 404 STR you get 24% reduction on your parry and at 405 STR it goes up to 25%. Any amount of STR between 364 and 405 has no affect on your parry reduction.

Damage Reduction = (0.0876 x Shield Block) + 9.7804 + (STR Tier)

Warriors reading this guide: Every ability should be on its own spot on your hotbar, not glued together with macros. Manually activate each ability appropriately to each situation.
