Class : Rogue --->job Thief : using Dualwield Daggers (1h slot like MNK cause system itself not allow dualwield i think)
--->job Ninja : using Dualwield Daggers/Katanas (same as above , but have unique weapon type NIN only)
Rogue class have 1st damage chains , DD boost j/a's , defensive J/a's , but when becoming job there's 2 ways of j/a's added.
Thief - offensive/support damage J/a , like Sneak Attack (gives att boost for party members behind target) , Trick attack (same , but front) , buff steal j/a's etc
Ninja - more support like BRD was intended ,self buffs ( shadows , different buffs) wide party buffs (like shadows covers party members from single att x 3 , but will wear if hit by aoe , also anti aoe , like x3 , but will wear if get hit by single or other source removing damage , and other buffs that NIN can use on himself ) , strong debuff Ninjutsu magic .
Class : Archer -->job Bard - well we have it
-->job Ranger - Pure DD version of archer .
Ranger using strong self buff j/a's, tho no party buffs at all , usuig DD limitbreak also .
Class : Ronin -->job Samurai
Ronin/Samurai 1job path only .Similar to DRG and MNK , SAM is strong DD with Tp high recharge (self/party) and longest skilltree chains ( like bout 5~6 moves in 1 chain )
Class : Fencer -->job Dark Knight . Tank/DD (can switch modes to offensive "Blood Rage" with j/a's will consume hp pool , and defensive "Blood Thirst" where DRK drains enemy Hp and def get's up also)
-->job Rune Fencer .for future patchs XD support job , that doing protecting/power gain buffs to party members , also can do good chunk of damage , but since gear considered "Clothes" RUN can't stand hard hitter boss , so can't tank at all .
Class : Bucaneer -->job Corsair . 1class/job path . Support job , with good chunk of damage just like in FFXI . Doing party buff rolls . Crit roll can heavy enchance party def or DD.
Class : Musketeer -->job Red Mage . Using rapiers primarly as weapon , but also can use Gladiator weapons on lower tiers . unlike Gladiators , RDM's heavy rely on enchance buffs & magic damage . RDM's have II tier of BLM magic&WHM (cure 2 also) with all respective procs . Using different sword combos from Gladiator can use ( like Red Lotus Blade ->Vorpal Blade -> Death Blossom )
-->job Blue Mage . Weapons choice is same as gladiator one , but also using eastern type swords (in game it will be "swordpair" for dualwield porpuses)
I doubdt game structure will allow learn spell as players learned in FFXI , cuz no way to learn anything from lv 1 by not 1 shot it . But can use dungeons last bosses for spell learn process
So BLU can use certain spells (also can choose what to set , depend of spell set , BLU stats will change) also unique sword combos from PLD or RDM.
