That was the point of my original post- they recoded a pre-existing game... so it isn't really a brand new game- it's a new implementation of a 3 year old game.

You're wrong, and you'd realize that if you played 1.x

2.0 is a brand new game, all the mechanics are new, land scape, everything... come on. And new games need to be maintained, not just have half-baked 'content' stuffed in to please people who do a dungeon once and say 'DONE! Oh there's no more to do? NO CONTENT!'

I played 1.0 and 1.23- it was total garbage. So, see my point about if this is a new game (Which I tend to agree, actually. The development on this game to get it to market was insane.)

This game is, for all intents and purposes a new game, the only reason they were able to push it out so fast was that a LOT of the assets were already in place, so yes, they did re-use a lot.
