I know that SE put the cap to keep it from the ends of the spectrum from getting too far apart, but seriously, I have so much free time right now.

I think you misunderstand the reason for the cap. I don't think SE gives two craps about the spectrum of players. In fact, I bet they don't even give one. What they want is your continued subscription. THAT is why you can only do so much per week, to make you keep paying to play their game so that you can take three months to get all of your stuff while they think up new things for you to do and keep subscribing for after you're done with it.
