No, I wouldn't skip DL, I would keep what I needed until I got the BiS from coil.Myths to gear it up? So, you just want to skip right over DL armor and jump right to being top tier once you hit 50? Other people have done this, and they seem to not know how to dodge wheel on Garuda Ex. But really, what is the point of all the elitists here crying cause they cant max their gear in a week? Seriously, this would be the worst thing for the game as a whole. There is already a significant enough gap between casual decent players and those who seem to fill up party finder. If you get your way, it would be nothing but min req of ilvl 90 for all parties, because if you played well, you would already have full myth gear. Plus these ilvl90 parties would do nothing but wipe anyways, cause spamming speed runs and capping gear would not magically gain the skill needed to dodge extreme primal mechanics.
You obviously didn't read my previous post. There is a mechanic to beat it, and most tanks fail at WW.Yeah, this DPS has no idea what the hell he's talking about.
A tank attempting to get away from ww equates to kiting, as it is not consistently x seconds after friction.
Opening the window to unforunate facing slipstreams, etc.
That's like saying a main tank in T5 needs to "dodge" death sentence. Hah.
Yes, i know it is ideal to avoid via conflag, the point stands.
Do tell. In this thread?
Where is said tutorial that is designed for WW on tanks, and not melee DPS?
Regardless... any competent tank can eat and survive a double WW with relative ease.
broaden your horizons, stop trying to spend 8 hours a day in game.
it's impossible to create enough content for people that play that much so you're pretty much out of luck.
The casuals. You are deluded if you think the hardcore are the majority.
Myth cap as it is fine. If there was no cap, people like you would gear all your jobs in one day, and call it quits. The gap between casuals and hardcore will continue to grow even bigger. Soon, we will have people requesting a minimum of i90 parties to do Ifrit HM. Really? Eventually the casuals decide that they can't keep up anymore,, and they call it quits too. Then all we're left with is about 10 - 20% of the player base, the remaining few hardcore players who still think the game is worth their time then.
I agree that content gating to an extent sucks, but I see it as a necessary evil.
So you want a cookie for having no life :P i mean for being hardcore? ppl like you will all ways hit cap / max stuff out no matter what so your never going to be happyI'm tired of waiting.
I know that SE put the cap to keep it from the ends of the spectrum from getting too far apart, but seriously, I have so much free time right now.
I don't think that hardcore players should be held back just because of someone that has to work all week and isn't even going to hit the cap anyways.
I actually feel that more people will quit from the frustration of waiting for gear due to cap, than just getting everything they need and moving on to the next job.
Also, Coil should be allowed to be done once a week per job. Tired of going through coil and not getting anything. I mean, you can go through CT as many times a week until you get what you want, why not Coil?
I guess I am deluded, because on Hyperion it seems like there all more people in endgame than anything. The casuals. You are deluded if you think the hardcore are the majority.

more people in revenant's toll than everywhere else? let me doubt that
You're right. I'm not happy but I did state that I would be happy with them making Coil like CT. Run it as much as you like, but limit it to one item per week. Otherwise get rid of the cap.
