Remove the caps on myth. Who cares if they grind out 10000 myth in a week, people are already in full i90 - the max ilvl attainable with myth. What are they holding back? The content still must be run and completed.

That is not the truth. The game didn't just have large parts of it redesigned. The entire game was reconstructed from scratch. I feel like you aren't fully understanding everything that was involved to get us to where we are today.
How was it reconstructed from scratch? They had a story, a world, primals, jobs and classes. Yes they did change and reconstruct the world, the battle system, created an additional storyline, and added more content, but it was all based of a pre-existing game. They made an endgame and prettied it up, so how is it from scratch?
All of those things, plus they programmed a new game engine. They built new data centers with new server infrastructure. Don't just look at what's on the surface. It's much much more than what you see.How was it reconstructed from scratch? They had a story, a world, primals, jobs and classes. It's more accurate to call this game a sequel of FFXIV than version 2 of the same game.
The engine thing... maybe.. EQ did some of this as part of an overhaul- it wasn't considered a new game. Same thing with "new data centers"... if they are new.All of those things, plus they programmed a new game engine. They built new data centers with new server infrastructure. Some of the game is new, a lot of it was just revamped. When an old game revamps content with a new engine and UI components, it's called an update... when a new game does it because of failure - it's a sequel/brand new game?
You can renovate a house, but it doesn't make it new. That is kind of how this game is... the bones are not new, but the covering is....

completely agree. i would like to gear out my sch (i will be starting soon, just got last myth for drg this week) but i cant because of this lockout system that restricts us from using the armory system that they want us to use.....Again- the design is not letting us use the armory to its potential.
completely contradicts itself.
The myth caps can seem unreasonable at the moment, but as the game matures and more events are added it will become less of an issue.
You will have to do coil/cap myth/CT/Event D/Event E etc each week, so that each individual cap doesn't seem so irritating.
have you joined any PF parties lately? almost every single one is still fail even with ilvl requirements and comments declaring it farming when obviously when you get into the duty they dont know whats going onWhy do u play with them then????? For every single thing in this game that you do with random party, there is an alternative to do with a premade party that would satisfy you.
healers and/or other DD's not being able to dodge scripted fights. What's the one constant in every party you're in?
