Its not a sole reason why its more of not knowing why we have it . I wish Se would give us info on why . I used to work late nights so when i came home my day off always was on maintenance so after working hard all night getting home to play then ok nope not playing tonight . That was not and is not the deal breaker just an annoyance

It's because SE called your workplace and got your work schedule, and do their maint. at precisely the days you have off.


Get over yourself, those of us that plays Eve have maintenance EVERY DAY, all your other points are quite valid, but this one is just pure whine, who gives a f why they do it? you know damn well you'd still be pissed regardless.

Humm i remember FFXI having maintenance in the early mornings and it did not bother me . I also remember it was once a month at most twice a month and sometimes once every 2 months adding in content for the upcoming events . Again you are taking it out of context . I said its annoying because they just say there's maintenance then 3 days later they have emergency maintenance to fix what the maintenance was to fix before hand . Its annoying i understand it and that's all well and good . Again its not the end all be all . As i have said And i never said i was pissed when we have maintenance but that i was annoyed with how often we have them there is a difference. And i understand that they have this when they have it because it interferes with me being off is just the way it is when SE scheduled it and just how my days off are . You assume i do not understand this difference . And again think this is the Main reason why i am no re-subing .

Regular weekly maintenance is a part of almost every MMO I've ever played. And Square does tell you what, if anything besides routine stuff, they did during maintenance on the Lodestone. At least they don't usually do maintenance during peak times during the evening/weekend.

I dunno about what everyone's quip is about Party Finder. Party Finder is a server-only Duty Finder with a typically higher item level requirement. It doesn't auto-detect people who are of lesser skill and keeps them out. There are gonna be people that sneak in that say they are experienced. There's no way around that. The best thing you can do is actually run it, see if that person actually knows, and give em the boot if it's clear that they don't. Or better yet, figure out why that person is failing and try to give some constructive feedback to make him better.

To be quite honest, the leveling being fast as a cause for struggling players seems far fetched. Everyone learns at a different speed but ultimately it's up to the player to take the time to learn their class if they feel that they are struggling. Whether that be taking on Guildhests for practice on tanking or add management, or maybe even practicing Titan and Garuda Hard Mode through Duty Finder to get some practice to learn when to do what. Some people don't catch on as fast as others and dulling the leveling won't help that a bit.
