    1:20 is in super slow motion, un-missable, but it's a red rectangle, not a red circle

    Edit: just noticed how ridiculous it is to make a case on whatever geometrical form the AoE area has and I actually wasted 5 minutes getting that video.

    you are stuck on the literal red circle. we're talking about the Telegraph Mechanics. they are all sorts of shapes, not just circles. and the problem exists with all of them.

    have fun being condescending and blaming players for all the problems. clearly you don't want to listen to reason or even try to tolerate someone possibly thinking that the game isn't absolutely perfect.

    next tank class should be White Knight. we'll never have a shortage of Tanks then.

    both of these happen on my computer, which runs the game on high across the board. with my internet with 30-50ms latency.

    Nothing like this happens when I play The Secret World, which uses Telegraphs just about as much as FF XIV does.

    again, it's the game. not my hardware.

    White Knights won't convince me otherwise.

    but that is exactly what happens. Melee Mob starts a melee-range telegraph(aka red circle, square, cone, column, whatever shape the telegraph takes). You dodge the telegraph. Game registers that you are still inside the telegraph, when you are actually not.

    Red/Purple Arrow from where the telegraph was, to you. Damage. the color of the arrow depends on the color of the Telegraph.

    that IS what happens, no matter how much you scream and shout that it doesn't. It. Does. video evidence of it abounds, as has been shown in this thread.

    Happens all the time with melee mobs. example: a Basilisk's special attack. (Body Slam, if I recall...I could be mistaken)

    and I do not believe that it is my computer or my internet.

    why? because it does not happen in other games that use Telegraphs as a combat mechanic. on my computer. with my internet.

    simple as that. you can feel free to continue looking down your nose and being insulting if it makes you feel better, though.

    also, why does this argument seem to begin and end with Titan? It happens in other areas of the game as well.

    Those quitting due to lag spikes might as well quit the mmo genera. there hasn't been one mmo i've played to date that haven suffered from lag issues...every mmo.

    I am on PoS3 too, there is not much we can do to fix the problem on our end, what I do is, I would start moving before the aoe is cast, and as soon as I am out of aoe area I would immediately cast something so that the server would recognize my current location. Since I Figure that out, it helps tremendously. I am not pro yet but I would only get hit once or twice during the whole titan HM (excluding the stomp)

    Funny that he talks about others being dumb and yet he's just as narrow minded. There was a thread of well over a thousand people posting that they had latency issues. But yet him and his other defending buddy (which both make me sick) still sit here and argue it's on our end. Even though SE took measures to try and help the issue... Even SE is changing stuff to help with the issue shows who side the issue is on. But yet those defenders will sit here and argue nothing is wrong @ all. I just don't get it. The fact they already had to run a free to play weekend just goes to show people are getting tired of the issues with this game. And still the defenders argue everything is fine.

    Because it's not simply a network latency issue. There are some very, very bad and very, very blatant issues with SE's entire positioning and movement backend. For reference, go to Youtube and look up the video of a WHM running around RT casting Esuna constantly while moving. That should not be possible even with a 3000ms ping - it indicates there's no client-side enforcement whatsoever, which is mind-boggling.
