Where is the MAIL BOX?!?!!?

Someone anyone please help me understand why this game have been out this long and does not have a mailbox. It seems so crazy to me that there even exists an MMO without a mailing system. Lets go gather mats for someone and send it to them so they can get the item when they wake up even if your not on.....no sorry cannot do that. Lets move an item from one character to another.....no sorry cannot do that. In a different town from someone else that wants an item from you? No worries just put it in the mailbox......no sorry cannot do that.

Any what is the best part? they are not even talking about it as if the idea of a mailbox is unheard of?

I'm sorry but this just feels crazy to me that SE is this out of touch. Does anyone else feel as if SE has just completely lost it?

Its usually at the end of the street, at least in the UK. I'm fortunate there is one outside my house just round the side of the house.

XIV is self serve thus even if there was a mailbox there are no couriers, pretend middle ages your going to have to hire a servant boy(another player) to deliver your mail. If there was a mail system we wouldn't have to walk to each camp to turn in craft leves.

I'd like to see them add item transit abilities to the retainers, myself. I'd like to see item and gil transfers handled by retainers, and let mailboxes be used for actual mail.

I agree. It drives me nuts that we don't have one, for all the above reasons you mentioned.

At this point, I have absolutely zero faith in SE's capabilities to implement a working, functional mailbox.
