Runaway Controller

I am having a different problem from other threads concerning the XBox 360 controller.
AS mentioned I am using a Microsoft XBox 360 controller for Windows. My problem is when using the left analog stick for movement my character will continuing moving in the last direction inputted even when I return the stick to neutral. It take a number of inputs to stop. It is as if the system has built up energy it has to bleed off before returning to neutral. Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so is there a fix? I verified the latest drivers, recalibrated the controller and even exchange it for a new one. Any help would be appreciated.

do you have any other controllers connected at the time? joysticks or the such?

how does the controller work in other games? same sort of issue or normal?

try tapping L1 the problem is they changes the autorun to L1 as well as camera

I have the same problem using my PS3 controller on my PS3. Exactly how the OP has described.

This is the only controller I have connected to my PC. Works fine with other games.

I've been actively trying to fix the issue for weeks, and nothing seems to be working.

Yes! The left analog stick on my ps3 controller does this..got a new one and it still does it! I have keep trying to run backwards to get my character to stop moving!

Sucks when I end up running ahead of a tank in duty and pull aggro

As Hakuro mentioned above, this is not a new issue with Patch 2.1, many of us have been experiencing it since the beginning of 2.0. Please check out this thread as well for some more information regarding the issue and please post if you will - we have yet to receive any community rep response and maybe some extra posts will help to illustrate the scope of the problem is greater than expected.

Sadly not I have looked to see if it was only win 8 players but its not and tried on my win 7 laptop with the same problem
