    Sargatanas is a Legacy server, hence the over inflated prices. SE just assume that the majority of players on the legacy servers are actually legacy players from version 1.0 and have carried over their wealth. They want these players to sink their money into the housing before opening up the server transfers for legacy players to move to not legacy servers. This is an attempt to not transfer large amounts of gil to the standard servers.

    You forget that only 10% of your gil came over from 1.0. your 100mm gil warchest just became 10mm gil. TAAADAAA!!
