SE said we can't use Vent because its considered 3rd party? OMG how about if I chat on MSN... it loads, logs me in automatically on windows start... OMG I don't know how to turn it off just for FF... OMG OMG OMG

Without Vent in FFXI I probably couldn't of lead dynamis talking to other group leaders to manage tactics... don't want to filter all the battle log; I want to see how much damage I got owned with, my friends got over killed by mobs! At same time don't want to look through all the log to talk to other group leaders, friends....

Was there a result from devs if mic/vchat app was considered 3rd party?? or do I need a 2nd PC/laptop just to run voice chat so its not considered 3rd party running on same pc....

I don't mention them saying this for XIV. If anything they are just stating they can't guarantee the quality / reliabillity of 3rd party programs. As long as they don't interact with the game client itself it can't be considered against ToS. Especially now that they gave us the option to put the game into windowed mode.

Windower was considered against ToS because it allowed you to play the game windowed when the function did not exist so the program modified the game itself to allow it.

Yep remember when windower wasn't allowed in XI... that was one of the dumbest thing I didn't get in FFXI... on the other hand in FFXI ALT+TAB worked.... why can't XIV even fix that....
