Fail Brigade (Open-minded, Social|Casualcore)

We're the Fail Brigade, a 34-member Rank 8 FC & 100-member LS that is active, roaring, and ready to go. We're considered LGBTQ/LGBTQ-Friendly so if that and a variety of more adult or seemingly immature humor aren't your cup of tea, then I'd advise against causing yourself reduced enjoyment by joining us. We are a social group that considers accepting our immaturity to be essential to maturity, and that progression and silly fun do not have to be separate things.

Fail Brigade is not a progression-based LS&FC. We do have three Coil groups running between the Linkshell and Free Company with two of them regularly churning out T4 clears and progressing into T5, but our main focus is social interaction and sprucing up the game world with spur-of-the-moment activities. We do lowbie dungeons, FATE groups, story clears, relic building, training nights, Ultima HM learning parties, XM primal learning parties, Ultima HM / XM primal farming parties, so forth--and have a variety of players across all levels of experience and background. We're working towards building an FC 1st-class Medium-sized plot House through spiritbond parties, crafting nights, and volunteer member contributions and are always looking for new friends and people to start working on setting up new coil groups.

The best part I feel about being here in Fail Brigade is just being able to be yourself without being judged for it. No matter what your age, background, creed, ethnicity, sexuality--none of that matters compared to who you are, and we're all proud to call one another friends.

You may have seen us around Gridania and Ul'dah lately, acting essentially as late-night street performers. We apologize for any spam and do tend to "motion" or emotes at the very least, and we're happy that our silly spur-of-the-moment activities tend to draw a crowd!

Four people joined the LS late last night and are hoping to build a BCoB static--most of them well-versed throughout Turn 4. If an LGBTQ/LGBTQ-Friendly LS&FC where you can relax during endgame without always having to turn to PF groups requiring i84 for T1 and still have a blast the rest of the week sounds good to you, then come on down.

We are very much supportive of one another before ourselves, so bear in mind that if you're looking to join explicitly to further yourself and not to share that experience with friends and newcomers alike, and enjoy their moments of glory, hardship, and jovial fun then you might still want a more strictly serious bunch. ;P

Ultima HM learning run--teaching a few completely new folk to the run as well as some experienced folk new roles (like myself on healer--phew!). An awesome night and we got quite a few accessories around, so we'll definitely have a lot more like this. Most kills were done before he even teleported to cast Ultima, but as you can see from this screenshot there was a lot of environmental damage taken thus we didn't have our full concentration. Pulled off a victory while the damage was being recorded from Ultima!--Awesome.

Sometimes you've gotta have balls of fire to face daunting challenges, but at least you can handle them with good friends. I'm proud to say we've also made nearly one million gil from our first spiritbond event last weekend--not bad for fooling around with a jukebox on TeamSpeak! We're looking to building up towards buying a medium sized house to call home for our FC.



One of Fail Brigade's Coil statics one-shot T1 and T2 on their first night running yesterday. Trivial to some I realize, but this is really exciting with that it was the first attempt at Coil for most of the group! Definitely seeking to help build more coil statics within the LS and FC, without breaking being a social group of course.

All Coil statics are either now working on or clearing Turn 4 within the LS. Plenty of people joining who're interested in Coil so definitely something can start up here with the right fire under some bums. More Ultima HM Learning&Farming parties coming up, Garuda XM Learning/Farming, and some more spiritbonding for the FC House!

Since my last update we've reached Rank 8 and have been fully enjoying the benefits of two rank II FC buffs 24/7. One of these is always Reduced Rates II because 30% reduction to every teleport is amazing when trying to fund a house! Speaking of--we're around 30% of the way to finishing our first house too. Weekend spiritbond parties and nearly daily treasure map hunting parties help a lot! We've also started to extend our services towards selling HM Primal clears--though free to LS&FC mates.

We've got Ultima HM and Garuda XM on definite farm, and are leaning towards Titan HM learning groups now. Certainly not the fastest pace, but we're having fun--and that's what counts.

We're working on some awesome ideas for both FC events and what to purpose the FC House as once we've purchased it. There's always plenty to do and find fun in, even between raid nights~

We're still doing extremely well--about half funded on our class-1 medium sized house! Ranulf Squires is still looking for quality players to round out his coil static, and Gat Zilla and Blackstar Serious can be contacted if you wish to join a newer learning group.
