Storyline Spoiler: So I just beat the game...where are ...

Where are the main characters from 1.0. You know the original heroes of light? I was looking forward to meeting them and stuff and the cinematic pretty much show that they got teleported into the future by the old man with the beard.

So where are they? I had to say, the entire time I was able to enjoy the story UP until the final dungeon when I was told "You are not allow to watch the cut scene, skip it." so I am not sure what happen except that I came out and no orignal heroes was there.

What happened? Where are they?

Wait, so the CGI character that look like main characters are not really characters? Then who the old man that die? Just another representation of players? I thought those guys were like Aldo/Alto from FF11. You know the boy who survivied became an adventurer and afterward a ninja or something.

Actually everyone here, including yourself, are warriors of light. Remember, a Warrior of Light is not necessarily a legacy player. A Warrior of Light is an adventurer chosen by Hydaelyn and entrusted to save the world. So you have Warriors of Light being transported through the void (to escape annihilation) thanks to Louisoix, joining new Warriors of Light chosen at the beginning of the 2.0 story.

Legacy players are the Warriors of Light. If you're not legacy, you're still Warriors of Light technically. Legacy characters go through the same questline as you, the only exception is that they get slightly tweaked text of "oh hey, you're familiar".

Those characters you see in the video are supposed to represent the original player base. The main guy you see there with the short dark hair, he was on the cover of the 1.0 box. I've been advised he's referred to as Derplander. I rather like it, I've continued that term. Anyway, Derplander and friends are a general thing. They have no real names.

Not to include Louisoix (old man). He was important and you should remember him since he's referenced in 2.0's storyline a lot.

Exactly, were are those guys? Are they NPCs or just vague representation of 1.0 players? All this time I keep on thinking I was a replacement hero waiting for the real guys to show up...but that's it? It stops with me?
