    let's be honest you don't want to share this with the new player? or even the player of the V1 (like me) that hadn't the luck to face Nael Van Darnus?
    is not like we ask for loot of the V1, all i say, is that it deserve to bring back to the game, simply because it was the ultimate battle of the V1.

    the minestrel are there for song Legend of glorious fight... and which fight can't be more glorious than the fight against Nael Van Darnus?
    it's a clash of legend and deserve to be bring back simply for allows people to feel: "oh my god, if this is the end of era, what can expect for this one?"

    and finally the most important i found sad that all the work on this character and fight to be lost for ever...when it deserve to be there for the new player too.

    what you did get in V1 from this fight is your, and i don't ask for bring this item... what i ask it's to bring the fight.... to bring the challenge to face Nael Van Darnus in ARR, with the mechanic all that come with!

    2.0 mechanics will have to change the Nael Van Darnus fight quite a bit or maybe to the point it is different from the 1.0 fight since the Minstrel will obviously exaggerate the Nael Van Darnus fight to the point it is nothing like the 1.0 version.

    well it's only a trouble for the battle team dev. on this i will simply say, they have modify a lot the fight of ultima, then nothing forbide them to modify the fight a lot.
    like the minestrel say after the fight of ultima, it's better to make the story more... epic *grins*

    I bet the Minestel will have Nael go super saiyan 4 times in 2.0 version compared to 1.0 version when he only get a power up 1 time along with more over the top things that never happened in 1.0.

    Such as..

    Making clones of himself at certain points.

    Exaggerating Nael Gunlance beam attack size

    Have the final part of the fight be a DPS race to get Nael to zero or else the meteor will fall on the field and instant kill everyone.

    and so on.

    As someone who didn't get the chance to play 1.0 due to not having a good enough PC and it never being released on PS3 I'd love to be able to fight Nael van Darnus. I've watched videos of the fight and thought it was amazing. If the minstrel were to tell the tale of the battle of course he'd exaggerate it so it'd be absolutely nothing like the 1.0 fight. I'm kinda hoping that they do add the fight because it would be pretty awesome to tackle it with some good friends.

    perfect way to reintroduce fight is by using this games story of echo, it can be an echo fight.

    Sure, bring it back, but don't let people get the rewards again. They're special exclusive items for beating the (at the time) hardest fight in the game while it was current content.

    Instead give slightly recolored versions of the rewards that do the same exact thing as the original, because "it's different!".

    Yeah the earrings suck right now. A minstrels battle rivenroad would be nice.
    But also, I mean have you guys not finished turn 5?

    Y'all may want to watch the post-turn 5 cutscenes regarding the white raven before discounting things as impossible.
