    Excalibur Raffle

    Saw this idea on the Balmung forum and thought it would be fun to hold our own!

    I volunteer to organize/start one here on Excalibur if there's interest. PLEASE REPLY THREAD IF U ARE INTERESTED! If i get at least 20 replies here I think it will be worthy/fun. After all why let Balmung have all the fun?! ^^

    I will:
    - Collect gil and keep records in excel
    - Start a raffle LS on server for participants
    - 5,000 gil per ticket (minimum 250,000 pot, or return money)
    - Use the RANDBETWEEN(x,y) function 5 times to select the top 5 winners
    - Start a youtube channel to record the random number generation process so everyone can audit true randomness
    - Distribute prizes for the top 5:
    #1: 75% of pot
    #2: 20% of pot
    #3: 5% of pot
    #4: 1 random philo tome item
    #5: 1 random item

    Fair disclosure: I'd also like to take 5% "gambling tax" for every ticket sold--fair comp for all the trouble (>^.^)>

    hehe then do it for free!! I'm in dont wanna put in the effort unless there's something in it... it is a casino activity after all, i am not so good hearted to do it for nothing.

    It sounds like a fun idea but there's such a massive issue of trust, that said though, 5k isn't that much.

    I guess thats vote #1 Prolly wont get enough interest to start this unfort.
    Agree that its hard to give/get trust... though sad state of humanity when confidence/trust is lacking even in for fun virtual game money.

    I'm interested =)

    5k isn't much...it's a whole lot less than I spend on a given day for crafting materials. And even if I don't get mymoney back and we just feed your wallet, who cares?..seriously...gil in this game is super easy to make.
