Your question seems to have been answered quite well, though one more thing I'd throw in:

I'd suggest adding the R40 leve Great Hoary Toads (Limsa/Camp Iron Lake) to your "static" list. It is quite good, and will help keep you from going nuts being stuck in Thanalan all the time.

I believe there is also one in muy-tun cellars that some people use for static, but I can't remember its name.

I'm pretty sure this one is Necrologos: Moon's Mistress, and I found it to be a pretty good leve.
