Progression should always be skill based - and unfortunately that's not the case here. (With the amount of threads I have seen on the forums - it's not simply a 'learn the scripted rotation' issue).

Actually, it IS skill based. It's not because a lot of people suck that they are right. Lag and delay are the worst excuse. I have some delay too, and I still can survive a whole titan Extreme fight...And if I get hit by something while seeing myself outside of the AE, I still know it's my fault, I know I've been too slow.
People tend to blame external factor too easily , so they just don't progress. If they started to blame themselves, and think "Ok, if I played better I could have avoided it", they would stop thinking it's hard, they would just be better. Instead, they just think "it's not my fault, so there's nothing I can do...So I won't do nothing, and it will never be better". Yeah, keep thinking like this, whining on forums that's it's not your fault. At the same time, some people are on the next fight while having same issues than you...They just were able to deal with it properly and improve themselves
