I am with you on this but you can still get a really good weapon without Titan HM...Moggle Weapon iLv80. I really think you need a better group though. They need to fix this fight but they probably never will so all I can offer is that everyone in the group needs to learn how to pre-dodge and just learn Titans order of moves for each phase. They key is playing with the SAME players everytime so you know you are all getting better together and you learn to play together. I got it down on a PUG group on one of my runs but I got lucky and we were all good.

I got Ifrit HM axe on my warrior prior to me respeccing him to a paladin.

It's just frustrating to see a "core" quest, available to all being jacked up by such nonsense. That's all.
I keep repeating that I don't have lag and I haven't died to this much at all, perhaps twice in my 80+ attempts(see how the number keeps going higher as I keep trying to attempt it )

That being said, perhaps you are right, perhaps it's better to just let go of this one and fight the battles that I can fight.
I have an entire set of darklight gear and gloves from CT. Maybe I should just work on an alternate weapon.

Meh, 15 days left on my trial, we'll see how much longer it lasts. Like the game and it makes me very nostalgic and brings back some good memories, but perhaps it's not worth the frustration.
