Does anyone know a good tactic to defeat as a thaumaturge. I noticed that whenever he puts the bomb. My fire spells drains more mana. WP Square Enix... Does anyone know any tactics though?. Really pissing me off.

This is coming from an arcanist: position yourself so you can see when he is going to attack you, try to position your rock between you and him, when he places his bomb hit it with your biggest spells asap. It took a few tries to get through.
Otherwise, are you using transpose? My general THM single-target strategy is lightning, then spam fire until empty, transpose, refresh lightning if needed, spam blizzard until full, transpose again if it is ready or just start back with the fire spells.

When he spawns the bomb, you can either kill the bomb itself or continue burning the rock. Killing the bomb might be easier for you.
